I first met Tracy and Chris in 2017 at a Wedding Fayre at Winchester Guildhall, we chatted for a long time about what they wanted and how they imagined their wedding day to pan out…. I instantly wanted… no NEEDED to be their wedding photographer!! Not just because they were such lovely people or that Tracy had an infectious smile! but because I could feel that their day would be fun and wonderful to photograph. – I wasn’t wrong!
Bridal preparations were at Tracy’s parents home with her sister, close friend and wonderful son, who was putting on her makeup as I arrived. It was a wonderfully sunny day and everyone was in high spirits. Tracy and Joshua had such an enviable relationship between mother and son, I remember thinking I hope my sons can joke and laugh out loud like that with me 🙂
Once ready Tracy and her father got into their car and we all drove to Two Woods Estate where guests were fast gathering. a Fabulous place, run by husband and wife team Mark & Jade.
The ceremony was awe inspiring! these HUGE red fir trees surrounding an actually, quite intimate setting with hay bales for guests and a beautifully made pergola for the ceremony to take place. Line with lanterns Tracy had a fair distance to walk down the isle to Chris. What a wonderful walk and a beautiful view.
The ceremony was wonderful with two readings two of their children and one by Joshua and one by Molly, Chris’s daughter and bestwoman! how wonderful right!? – just love it! actually love this, can you tell I loved this wedding?? anyway I digress….. ha!
After the ceremony and many cheers and congratulations from the couples guests we had our formal group photos within those very woods and then made our way back, a little walk, to the barn and Reception Hall.
Speeches!! well, all I’m going to say these speeches again by Joshua and Holly are the first and only so far to have tears running down even MY cheeks let alone everyone else’s ???? in a beautifully wonderful way mind 😉
Food was a rather exotic can I say? hog roast – (always a fave as I get to have some too and had a hog roast for my wedding too) but the salad etc was quite exotic I guess I mean.
So, we come to the evening with wonderful DJ couple who had brought all sorts of props with them which we spent lots of time taking photos of people enjoying these late into the night once Chris and Tracy had their first dance together.
All in all a fabulous wedding where I was made to feel as one of the guests and I was happy to hear Molly wanted me to photograph her wedding also – I will hold you to that Molly 😉 xx
Thanks again for having my – I will never forget this wedding and the Love emanating from it in droves
