Aah what a fabulously fun filled wedding at Tournerbury Woods Estate on Hayling Island, Hampshire.
It was set to be a gloriously sunny day and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.
March & Chris had a relaxed morning at the cottage on the estate where they stayed with their Groom’s party the night before. There were all relaxing in the garden together when i had turned up whilst some of the Groomsmaids were having their hair and makeup done.
The outside ceremony was beautifully done whilst guests sat on hay bales, this is MY type of wedding!! relaxed, informal and guests enjoying themselves in the sun.
It was such an honour to watch Chris & Marc stand there holding hands, smiling at each other and taking in the whole day, Chris was a little nervous but Marc didn’t show it if he was. There was a huge round of applause as they were announced Husband & Husband. It was an awesome moment to be a part of.
After the ceremony we all walked through the woods to an area of the estate which looks over the waters of Hayling Island and moored boats. It was such a romantic beautiful setting and here they ate canapes, drank their reception drinks and posed for group photos included one of the whole party! An essential part of the photos for their day.
Everyone was in high spirits as we made our way back towards the marque for speeches and food!
The speech from Marc’s Best Woman was just beautiful and even made me tear up too, you could tell the bond that these two cousins had from growing up together and dare I say…. getting into trouble together. Chris’s Best Man kept his speech short but it was totally heartfelt and hilarious at the same time.
Food was a fabulous Hog Roast
